Rawls looked super quick on the TD run! Nice 90 yard Drive

This isn't the same team as the one we watched look like a 49er's clone last week.... Pete must of kicked some serious butt this week in practice.

That play clock sure wound down quickly. I don't mind them going for it, but by the time they were set the clock was at 3 seconds

Nice to see Rawls fully back! Hot damn, he looks good.

And ETIII has to end the good injury news this week. You win some, you lose some.

ET? Broken leg?

Super funny post about seeing Fant back on the field. We all said something similar watching. Oh boy.

Would not put much weight on this --- but I am hopeful that it is not too bad as his face was not grimacing in the kind of pain of a really serious injury as they showed him riding the dart to the locker room

I know, right? I don't know how he can be so quick moving laterally.

Is Rawls hurt? That head shot looked heavy - he immediately grabbed his helmet. I hope he's not looking at a concussion

He's already in concussion protocol. That was one bang-bang hit.

Earl's leg is broken. Like, shattered broken it seems. He just tweeted that he's considering retirement.

Thanks - Wow What a fall - from Projected Left Tackle to starting right tackle to being benched for a never successful tackle in the NFL.

Damm - It looks like Earl will be done for the year.

How long it takes to return to daily activities varies with different types of fractures. Some tibial shaft fractures heal within 4 months, yet many may take 6 months or longer to heal. This is particularly true with open fractures and fractures in patients who are less healthy.<<<<<<<

Not really sure what Rawls is in now - game seems pretty safe - why not sit him the rest?

Earl is a hyper emotional guy. I am sure his tweeting about retirement is due to the situation. He loves ball too much, he will be back next year.

I agree with Jonesy. Earl's tweet could be a spur of the moment reaction during a very stressful situation.

Yes - Earl will not be retiring for at least another 4 seasons.

I agree it sux to have ET go down and agree that his tweet may have been emotional/pain relieving drugs. At least I hope so. I love that guy soooo much. I hope he stays part of the team even while injured. We need him one way or another.

I'm with you on that one, sista. One of the top five or ten best Hawks of all time. But, Terrell is a pretty impressive young guy. Not that et is replaceable, but better than losing a corner, lb, or do in my mind. It is a good opportunity to see where our depth lies. I still put the Hawks above the cgirls as favorites for the Superbowl from the NFC.

Outside of the personal aspect, what I worry about most isn't replacing Earl's physical presence as much as losing his mental presence. That secondary doesn't seem to play as well together when one of them is out. We've seen how we've been burned when Kam is sidelined. Earl knows that group of guys better than anyone else, knows their strengths and weaknesses, how far he can cheat, when he needs to give help, etc. Now we're going up against one of the more cerebral QB's in the league, on the road, and in winter conditions.

Fortunately the Packer's D really sucks this year so we should be able to put some points on the scoreboard. But this offense, particularly the OL, has flopped against the weakest of D's and has struggled on the road.

We're not built to play shootouts so it could be an interesting game.
Hopefully we can get a few long drives that take a lot of time off the clock.
