In the draft next spring we need to emphasize shoring up the defense. It was weak today against the run and the pass.

Holding Gurley to a 3.3 yard average, isn't a poor performance, especially when 50% of those yards came on 3 runs. I thought the run defense was actually the bright spot today.... the coverage was pretty horrendous, but that's to be expected with the inexperience I suppose.... ultimately, without their top two receivers available ( Cook and Kupp) though, was INCREDIBLY disheartening...
