I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell that we'll resign Okung, but I won't be writing our epitaph when he's gone. He's been out of the lineup so much that his worth to us is very questionable, which is one of the reasons why we won't be offering him a contract anywhere close to his market value. It's best that we move on and get on with the process of looking for his replacement, which I am sure has been underway for at least a year, if not longer.

Good point River, the problem is RW, IMHO has been been on borrowed time for a long time. We lose an All-Pro Center, and an All-Pro Tackle, he will get hurt. How many teams Riv, have their been that never had 1 All-Pro lineman on their team and still go to the SB?? Maybe Brady?

Okung is an oft-injured, middling talent with one pro-bowl on his resume (not all-pro- there's a difference).

We could do worse, but we could also certainly do better, and if that's what stands between us and mediocrity, we're a shambles.

I don't think that's the case, though, so I'll have to disagree with you, obi.
