I almost fast forwarded through it at halftime of the Cheatriots-Stealers game, but what an awesome commercial from the Washington State Lottery. Only a true Seahawk fan would appreciate it!

I watched some of the game. I'm out of your local broadcast region, so I didn't see the commercial, but man, it was a challenge to me to decide who I hate more, The Cheatriots, or the Stealers. Current events carried the day & I found myself rooting for Rapelessburger & co to pull off the upset.

MAN am I glad that we have a team that is fully capable of wiping them both into season ending gamedays.

Have to say, though, that based on what I saw tonight, we're going to have to look *awfully* shtty for me to be worrying about either of them upending us.

I can't remember what they were advertising, but I loved the one where they were listening to various players lay out their resumes and they came to Beast and he didn't say a word, just pointed to the SB ring on his finger.

The Steelers defense was horrible, particularly their secondary. I'm not taking anything away from Brady or Gronk, but that D of Pittsburgh's is going to get rung up like a pinball machine this year.

BTW, did anyone notice who the Steelers DC is? Keith Butler, a pretty fair linebacker for the Seahawks way back when. It's going to be a long season for him.

Replacing the "Legend" Dick LaBeau, at least for 1 year anyway. And that D was pretty bad on the play where he split out right. How do you not adjust for him?

Sometimes players get so preoccupied with where they should be lining up that they become oblivious to someone like Gronk being uncovered. Someone should have seen that and called a timeout.

Dick Lebeau is one of the best players/coaches the game has seen. Most great players don't make good head coaches.

I don't disagree with this exactly but if you are playing the Pats you always need to know where Gronk is when you get in the red zone and you shouldn't be surprised when he lines up outside. On a side note I hate when teams have a LB or small safety line up against him 1 on 1 inside the 15. There are very few in the NFL who can and giving Brady/Gronk that look is an EASY TD. I wouldn't mind if the Hawks lined KJ up against Gronk inside the 10, but outside of the the 10 I hate it. WAY too much space for him to work (I haven't re-watched the SB but I know it was KJ who got beat by Gronk on their TD before the half, but I might look stupid because I can't remember if it was outside of the 10, although it seems like it probably was).

I beg your pardon, but that's pretty much what I said. You're right, everyone should always know where Gronk is, especially in the red zone. The fact that no one recognized where he was is what led me to say that they were preoccupied.

BTW, were the headsets between the team captain and the sideline working then? If they weren't, that could explain some of the confusion, and why the Steelers didn't try to call a timeout.
