I guess we will get to see how Rawls looks in real NFL action even if Lynch plays.

I'd rather see him sit out a game and get healed up than I would risk aggravating the injury. I don't think we'll need him this Sunday and it's going to be a long season, especially for a back that plays like Beast does. And as North says, it will give Rawls some reps.

This would also be an ideal game for Fred Jackson to get a lot of carries along with Rawls. I hadn't heard much about Lynch's situation until yesterday.

I would love to see Michael get some PT, its about time. Get the rock to ML's future replacement! Lets see what he can do! On a serious note (sort of, actually not really) here's an article about Michael getting first team reps with the Cowboys yesterday.

I have great faith in Rawls if the OL can give him even a tiny hole. Big IF.

Michael get playing time? I thought he was in Dallas. I too believe that Lynch should sit and lets see Ready Freddie and Sweet Lou RAWLS run the ball today.

Let Lynch heal up for the long haul, otherwise he will keep aggravating that sore calf.

A calf strikes me as the type of injury that is really tough for a skill position player to be effective with. Especially a guy whose game is leg drive and pushing the pile.
But if he can go he has to go. Its a must win IMO.

Yeah, that was a joke. I even linked an article discussing how he was supposedly getting first team reps with the Cowboys.

Rawls had a solid game coming in for Lynch (104 yds on 16 carries, 6.5 per).
We all know about the Bears D - or lack thereof - but still this is very encouraging.
It may even be enough to rest Beast next game entirely.
We're still gonna need ML to go far this season, naturally.

He looked like a good back on Sunday.
He doesn't shy away from contact and gets the most yards he can, but nobody can break tackles like Marshawn.
If that one game is any indication, he might be someone who could succeed Lynch when that time comes, but the OL must get better if we don't want to see a big loss of production on the ground.

I believe hair is considered a body part just like an arm.
It might be suicidal in society, but I think I remember a couple of years ago (I think against the Panthers) he had one of his dreads pulled out on a tackle.
I remember thinking OUCH!! that must have hurt. It didn't seem to bother him at all.
Maybe he had extensions.
