I've always had mixed emotions about Ken Griffey. He's not one of my favorite Mariners like Edgar or Jay Buhner, but he was arguably the best player in the game for about 5-6 years. If anyone in his era deserves a first ballot entrance to the HOF, it's him.

AS for him personally, as long as he goes into the Hall as a Mariner, I'll forgive him for his deeds. He just become the highest percentage inductee ever.

After he got to Cincy his legs started to give out. I think it was all those games plated on the hard kingdoms AstroTurf that cost him his health. His every at bat, good or bad, was a joy to watch. Those 3 voters are a disgrace to the game of baseball..
They sent in blank ballots - further reason to strip them from even having a vote. I'm not trying to rant on this deal, but it really pisses me off that a couple of old dudes decided to change what could (should) have been an historic event by sending back empty ballots. Indicating nobody, not even The Kid was HOF worthy from this years class.
