What time is it? It's is playoff football time as the road warrior Hawks venture into a hostile environment where a well rested and arguably the best regular season team in 2016 awaits them. Looking at things objectively your would figure that this game is going to be decided on the very last drive of the game. How Ironic is it that in order to make it to the Superbowl, the Hawks will have to return to the scene of last years disaster? However first things first, an excellent Carolina team with the best defensive player in the NFL Luke Kuechly. Go Hawks!

We're up and ready down here in Bend.

We're still talking about the Cards game ~ wow! The final few minutes were bananas, but the drop of the easy interception near the goal line could have (should have) iced it for the Pack. I think the DB took a peek at the 95 yards of open turf ahead of him and forgot about catching the damn ball. Palmer made a few plays, but he was being fitted for the goat horns if that DB catches the ball.

Regardless, our Hawks would have crushed both of the teams yesterday.

I don't have stats but it seemed the games yesterday had few penalties called. Made the games flow better and players could play. I suppose they will make up for that today.

The field looks awful. As a GCS it boggles my mind how these greenkeepers cant keep a few acres of turf healthy with whats available for technology nowadays. This POS makes Redskins look like AstroTurf

On Paper - before the kick off - this game with the matchup of these two teams has all the ingredients for a all time classic. Part of the reason I feel this way is that both QB's have the capability to make big time plays out of nothing.

Not expecting much out of the running game for both teams - difference should be decided through the air and through the number of turnovers.

Wow - Have to conclude that the field this bad is intentional.

As the fastest team in the NFL any slippery field negates our speed.

We've deferred as is SOP. Yes, I agree that this game has that potential for a real rock 'em; sock 'em close match up. Crappy field conditions though. The re-sod isn't holding well. Why did they wait so long to do that? Wonder what is behind that story..........

Sometimes these easy early scores backfires on a team because they can makes a team complacent.

Well, that was a left-footed start to the game. I understand poor field conditions but that is what they prepare for. They're both playing on the same field. It's time for RW to wake up and get to work. Carolina has set the precedence and there is no time for the usual "size up." It's early and we've to face the threat. These guys have just raised the bar. Marshawn looks weak. I don't know if having him play is what we need.....

Field conditions are what they are, deal with it. They are controlling LOS on both sides of the ball. Everybody was worried if Lynch would get on the bus, he'll looks like the Hawks didn't get off the bus. Russell better get on his horse, cause he's gonna have to throw, throw and throw again. Wait a minute! The game IS NOT OVER in the first quarter. How soon we forget the several times we've been down like this in the first half, only to come back and win in the second half. I'm just watching and positive. I don't see that Lynch is strong and ready and perhaps he needs to be pulled. The game isn't over until the end of the fourth quarter. If you've got to puke, so be it....
