Dear Fellow Shackers,

I say this with a heavy heart. It looks like I'll be leaving my life long home, the beautiful Pacific Northwest and relocating to the Bay Area. I was just offered a job as a lead web developer for a well known marketing firm. The only caveat, one of their top clients is Jed York, the owner of the San Fransisco 49ers.

I will be responsible for developing the official team website, as well as managing their social media campaigns. Due to a conflict of interest, I will no longer be able to host The Shack and I'm required shut the server down by the 15th of April.

Thank you to everyone in this community, you are the ones that have made this place what it is. This is a sad day for all of us. Makena, thank you for everything...much love and best of luck with your ventures in New England.

Thanks all the work you put into this, yoder; it is an understatement to say I've enjoyed being a part of this forum. Congratulations on you new gig, and I wish you the best in your endeavors.

Oh, damn! I sure hope someone steps up to take Yoder's place. It would be a shame to shut this place down. I like this site due to the low traffic, much more intimate.

I won't be able to use that one anymore...at least until our 10th anniversary. Got to have a little fun during the off season. A definite A+ to Bob!

The Niners is what made me doubt it, but there was still that lingering possibility.
