Just a couple of comments: I think we'll take a RB higher than the 7th round. With Rawls just coming off crutches we're pretty thin at that position, and I think (perhaps hope is a better term) that we'll take an OT early, perhaps even with our first pick should one of the top OT's happen to slip. I have a hard time believing that Pete and John are comfortable with the tackles we currently have on the roster to the point where they'd wait that long before picking one up.

I'm also intrigued with your selection of Vernon Adams. I've watched him at Eastern and at Oregon and like you, feel that he possess many of the same qualities that Russell has and I'd be delighted if we selected him. He reminds me a little of Colin Kaepernick but not quite the same arm strength. I think he could be a viable backup.

I'm interested in Adams late, too.
He has enough of the physical qualities of Wilson that we wouldn't have to change the Offense if Wilson comes out.

Yeah I almost went with Shon Coleman in the first, in fact all my drafts up until this final one did, and that would have had Kenyan Drake as our RB in the 4th, but in the final draft here I just had to get Nembot in there so things kinda shuffled a bit.

If mock drafts and the fanspeak site are any indication, he could easily be available in the 2nd, but I doubt he is on their list of must haves coming out of this draft.
So to answer your questions, yes he could be there at 26 and no he wouldn't be a good choice at 26 imo. He takes too long to get up to speed for our Offense - remember how well Rawls did when he hit the holes quickly? But I could be wrong.

I think he'll slide well into the late second, and no I don't think it would be wise at all, for the same reasons he will slide.
He's a fit for a team with a dominant line that can open holes for him.Dallas for example would be a great fit for him.
For us however, he would be an awful fit.
He simply has no ability to make guys miss in the backfield at all. When he has any kind of contact at all in the backfield, he averages less than a yard a carry.
Think about how many times we've seen Marshawn and now even Rawls make something out of nothing because of their ability to break tackles and or make guys miss in the backfield, after it look like the defense had them dead to rights.
It's absolutely VITAL in our run game.
Henry is an absolutely AWFUL fit for us. I wouldn't draft him for the Seahawks offense if he fell to the fifth round, because there will still be guys available there who will fit our team better. IN fact there will be several undrafted guys who fit better.

So not just no, but HELL NO!

Conner McGovern is my favorite player in the whole draft, if we took him at 26, I wouldn't be shocked. Tough, gritty, athletic and can play anywhere on the OL.
I think Cable covets LeRaven Clark as a guy he can coach up. Very athletic and good feet. We can trade down 10 spots or so and still have a good shot at him.
I had a hard time mocking a corner to the Hawks as we have a lot of depth on the back end of the roster. Bradbury and Elliot fit the length requirements and we have taken a corner every year, so I went with them.

Regardless, I'm happy the way things went yesterday. Good ol' Schneider adds an extra 3rd rounder - which is big in a draft like this - and we get an OL that we can work with. I heard the 3rd round on NFL Radio & Pat Kirwin said he knew Pete would take THIS TE because he told him he would (they are good friends). He went on to say if anyone in this draft looked like Gronk, it's this guy who didn't drop a pass all year & out physicalled his opponents. I could live w/ another good blocking/catching TE.
