Man I'm gonna miss that guy. Here's hoping Rawls softens the blow...

Beast must have said "over" as many or more times as Alan Iverson said "practice" in one of his interviews.

We are going to miss him. The man was relentless. But Rawls has the ability to be a pretty darn good replacement.

With you River on this one! Czonka, Campbell, Riggens, Brown, an Beast, all in the same mode.

Yep, and they all had several differences in their running style. Czonka was a pure fullback and ran every bit as hard as Beast, but Beast was better balanced. Jimmy Brown ran hard, but he didn't knock the teeth out of you like the others, but he was much more explosive/elusive than any of the aforementioned. I don't think I'd elevate Riggins to the same status as the other 4. Not quite as bone jarring as the other 4 and certainly not as explosive as Jimmy Brown.

I don't think Beast has a big enough stat line to get into the HOF. Too bad Pete didn't give him the ball in SB 48 or he might have had a shot. I would have loved to watched the ceremony, see if he might jump off the stage grabbing his balls.

I would have to say Jim Brown was the greatest FB player of all time. Defenses were set up to stop Brown and couldn't stop him. Now as a person, no. I just cant get past wife beaters.

This made my week. Not sure if my favorite part is the summary he states at the end, or when he pauses and starts back up with "and over, and over, and over..." Awesome.

GO SEAHAWKS!!!

I saw #5 and #2, both road games, in person. Those alone were worth the cost of the trip.

Man, I forgot how quick Rawls is. He goes from zero to top speed insanely fast.
