I wonder if he has any aspirations of being a coach?
A guy like him who had to work hard to play for a decade or so could help some of the younger players reach their potential. He was going to help mentor the younger DL like Clark, so just maybe he can still contribute.
How many coaches or interns can a team have, anyway?

To the best of my knowledge there's absolutely no limit. That said, continuity matters, so it's doubtful that a team gets to excessive with them.
