It's about time for Tony to hang em up while he can still walk.

Fantasy advice: Pick up Dak Prescott. The guy could explode onto the scene given that he's playing behind what is generally considered to be the best offensive line in the game. He could be the next Russell Wilson.

Man I agree, where were the scouts on this kid River?? He faced some of the best CFB defenses in the land and didn't always win, but always moved the ball on them. 4th round??

I don't think Dak will be so impressive once defenses are game planning for him.

Exactly. He's looked good, but 3 preseason games as an unknown is no resume.

In a league where even the most experienced QBs are occasionally fooled by defenses, he might have a few stumbles early. They will scale the playbook back, I'm sure but all rookies are mistake prone for a while.
Like Belichick says, you see what a team (or QB) does well and then take it away from them. Most DCs in the league that are scheduled to play Dallas will be examining the film for Prescott's strengths and weaknesses. It will be interesting to see how he performs.

I don't like to see anybody get injured - not even a Cowboy - but, yeah, this has to be Tony's last go-round this season. Guy just cannot stay healthy lately, and he's snake bit with injuries at this point. Just a weird, freakish kinda thing that happened (again) to this guy.

Odds of Dak stepping up and leading this team to the playoffs are slim to none. The RW story is the exception, not the rule.

I'm far from completely sold on Prescott but I will say it had very nice poise for a Rookie. I think watching Russ as close as we all got to that it seems quite possible for a Rookie to play well, but if we look at examples it's pretty rare. That said, who knows? He will certainly get a lot of press.

There's a lot of new quarterbacks and/or teams with new quarterbacks this year. Who else besides Dak Prescott would you want to take in a fantasy draft? Brock Osweiller? Mark Sanchez? Jared Goff? Or how about one of the 'established' quarterbacks like Tyrod Taylor, Blake Bortles, Jay Cutler, Terry Bridgewater, Jamis Winston, Colin Kaepernick, or Ryan Fitzpatrick? Or maybe you want to gamble on the health of a couple of other QB's, like Carson Palmer, RG3, or Sam Bradford?

I understand that teams don't game plan in preseason, that it's mostly about talent evaluation, but Prescott has some unique advantages over all of the above: The best OL in football and weapons like Dez Bryant and Mark Whitten.

It was the way he was taken down that was bad but Romo has been fighting the injury bug for years, I think this is the end for him.
