Not sure how serious it is yet, but he seems to have hurt his ankle. Walked off under his own power, though, so we'll see.

No link yet, but hearing through the grapevine.

True, but if Ifedi can't go, the options for replacing him are horrifying. Gotta keep our eye on this.

There's always Webb at the only position he should have lusted next to his name...

I think we already have a veteran RG on the ghost roster...

The Saints re-signed Evans so he must have something in the tank.
I suppose he didn't fit our system very well, but looking at the roster, we aren't very deep in quality OL with Odhiambo, Fant and Webb as backups.
Webb would be the obvious choice as the other 2 didn't show very well in preseason. It looks like we might be in trouble if there is more than one injury along that front at the same time.

Reading now it's a high ankle sprain, likely out a few weeks *at least*.

Another Okung. Great.

Our O-line seems to always be built from scraps and duct tape. I'm not gonna be worried about it until it's too late.

Well... Assuming Webb gets the start? If he's a disaster - Britt slides over and the Hunt goes to center? I never thought I'd miss Lewis, but he would be nice to have now.

Game plan - Play Great D, field position and Pound CM and Rawls behind the guards and hope to break a few? I can't see RW having more than a second to get rid of the ball.

There's no good options, only some that aren't as bad as others. Britt was horrible at guard and has looked a lot better playing center, so I'd favor leaving him where he is and at least get him some game experience. I hate it when we shuffle the OL around this much.

Let's hope Bevell can pull a rabbit out of his hat and come up with some type of plant to take Suh out of the picture or else it could be a long day for the Hawks offense.

Evens didn't sign because he was holding a hard line on his salary demand and we didn't want to pay it. Too bad NO did ...

We'll bring someone else in now methinks.

Between Suh and Wake if they get going and get the right shot on Russ they could dramatically affect our prospects for the season. I would expect a dose of running right at them to get them on their heels a bit but I've not been this uneasy about our O line in quite a while.

Yikes! 6-0, 5-1 just might've turned into 3-3......

He had already signed a minimum deal here (10 yr min; $985k + $80k SB.) This is also the max that the CBA allows for the veteran player minimum which only counts the amount you would pay a 2nd year player against the salary cap ($600k.) I have not seen reported what he got in NOLA but dollars to donuts it was the same deal.

They also have Mario Williams.
That DL, on paper could be pretty formidable.
It depends on if Wake is over his Achilles injury and Williams returns to form.

They have Pericak (sp) on the PS, so I would suspect he would be added to the roster.
He at least knows the Offense and presumably practiced with some of the players.

Kline was set to be traded to the Iggles a few days ago. Then suddenly he was not included in the trade and the Pats cut him. Not sure what the deal is but it sounds a lot like something medical.

*Edit, just read that he was picked up off waivers by the Titans.
