National Weather Service is predicting terrible (even for the Great Northwest) weather this weekend. Not sure who it really favors, but Atlanta is a Dome team and the Seahawks aren't. What's the real prediction for game-time weather?

The storm they are comparing this to was on my BD 10/12/a lot of years ago and my Mom and Grandfather took me to dinner in the Space Needle. I was young, but I do remember having to leave early and they wouldn't let us out on the observation deck (90 mph winds.. .I wonder why)

I hope it isn't that bad for the game. Of course, I'll be thinking about all of you.. .while it's about 80 degrees, sunny and trade winds blowing another ho-hum day in the islands. Stay Dry!

by the time the game starts most of the bad winds should be over but you never know but if I know one thing, rain and wind have never helped the Seahawks. I hate hearing when game starts "it raining and it should benefit Seattle", just to sit there for 3.5 hours to see how your team get's it's ass kicked. I did hear today on radio that the Hawks practiced outside in rain and hardly any wind instead of training inside, fyi falcons have been practicing at UW stadium 1.5 miles or so from clink and also open very simular stadium, clink is just modern version of Husky stadium. Sounds like falcons will come prepared.

The Falcons have one of the best young Coaches in the NFL. Look at his pedigree... 'nough said. Atlanta will be ready.

It's hard to tell which team that the weather might favor if this storm comes to fruition. I would like to think that we would have an advantage, but I remember a playoff game a few years back where we were playing the Saints, a clearly inferior team that lived on Drew Brees's downfield passing that we had absolutely drilled a month earlier that took us to the limit in our house when we had a strong wind storm blow through the PNW.

Predictors are saying Saturday 1800 - 0100 for the worst of the winds now. Sunday predicted to be breezy and partly cloudy. Of course who really knows around here until it actually happens.

The forecast for Sunday afternoon that I just looked at says cloudy with winds from 10-20 mph with rainfall of 1/4" throughout the day. Not the worst it's ever been, but it could have an effect on the game.

I'm actually hoping for a lull... Wilson Doesn't have a history in Seattle of performing well in inclement ( wet/windy) weather... ( and yes I know he played at Wisconsin, that doesn't change a thing since he's been in Seattle)... Nor does it mean I don't believe he'll make enough plays to win the game. Just means he hasn't played well in the wind and rain ( or at least as well as I believe he can play against some of the defenses he's faced inn those games).

We match up fine with them defensively, and CM should have a big day running, in addition to Wilson Always finding a way to get it done. More big game experience than the Falcons helps here as well, plus....we're at home...

I'm expecting a big day out of Jimmy Graham. I don't know anybody the Falcons have on defense that can cover him effectively.;

The Defense might not match up well as both Chancellor (groin) and Clark (hamstring) are questionable.

Atlanta is allowing an average of 28 points to opponents this year and The Hawks are allowing 13.5.

I like our chances at home.
