This kid will be interesting to watch going forward. Not the first one to get a shot in the NFL without much experience. John Ross would be better... but no chance for him, so this kid became an option. You can't teach 'speed'...

You got to pull for the kid trying to fulfill his dreams even if he makes it somewhere else, but speed is something that Carroll likes. That ability to make a chunk play using his speed is one of the cores of his philosophy and is a major reason both Lockett and Richardson were picks. It made them stand out from the crowd, but they had a lot more experience. What he has going for him is he's apparently coachable and the Seahawks don't care how you landed on the team, you have a chance to play if you're good enough.
I wonder how he will fare covering punts and kickoffs as that will probably be where he's first looked at?

'covering punts and kickoffs'... the kid is 5' 10" and 180lbs -- something tells me he hasn't tackled much to this point. I have no idea, but I would think catching passes is easier to 'teach' than tackling someone. Not sure if he's special teams material. Maybe running back punts?

I think he'll have to stand out on ST, so maybe returning punts and kicks could be an option. I'm not sure that would be enough for him to stick, but maybe on the PS.

This story is an example of how the Seahawks make their own luck. I wish this guy the best. Ed Dodds is a great scout.

He'll see the football field sooner or later. Pete Carroll and John Snyder are genius.

Grayson is on the clock with the 7th round pick we have our future development of the gunner position locked up. We also have a great return man OTF. So watch out for Grayson he runs really fast.

What did you think about this young man who wanted to play football really bad. Pete Carroll said he was the future, maybe in 2019-2020 . I am interested in Grayson he runs a 4.2 40 so good for the team practices and I am very interested.
