Ugh. It's always something.
3am. That's never a good time to be up and socializing.

The alleged incident is two weeks old, so the question has to be asked why the delay in reporting it? Unless there are eye witnesses, evidence at this point is going to be a little hard to come by if something actually occurred.

They were in a home and it's being referred to as DV, I don't think they were out partying.

 I have zero idea what the facts are in this case. As of yet, no charges have been filed but there is an open case that investigators are reviewing. Just because we are learning of it today, RD, does not mean that the authorities are learning of it today.

I hope that Mr. Reed is innocent. DV is such a horrific problem and I hope and pray the victim, if there is one, is physically and emotionally ok.

I also see the timing of picking a pair of DT's early in day#2 of the draft very odd. 12 hours before the start of Day #2, the team finds out (yes, probably about 5 minutes after the police arrived at the condo) -- and puffff, we draft a questionable DT when O Line and CB (it seemed to me) to be more logical and needy picks. We'll never know if this incident changed our plans, but it's out there.

In the 'new' NFL, DV against any female is akin to murdering someone.

and evidently, Frank Clark felt left out, so he decided to send an interesting tweet today about his opinion on his 'past'... wonderful world we live in. Take the high roads, kids, it's a little longer to get there but it easier to deal with when you're on top.

I don't know if I buy the "interior pass rush" as the #1 issue going into the draft. I think we were one of the top 3 or 4 in sacks last year, so I don't buy it. However, we do need a top-notch CB to play opposite Sherman and that kid from U Dub.. .just saying.

Only a couple of people know the truth and I don't think either JS or PC will come clean.

Comparing it to murder is a bit of a reach, but I fully support efforts to severely punish players that physically assault a female should it be sufficiently proven (like it was with the Ray Rice incident). I'm a raging, bra burning feminist when it comes to DV against females.
