You're right about that, ObS.

As well, it seems like the locks of us and NE are in our place because of the ineptitude of the remainder of each respective Division.
The Pats don't have any competition except maybe the Dolphins, and 2 of the 3 teams in our Division are still rebuilding.
I don't know what to make of Arizona. They could just as easily lay an egg as set the league on fire. They're very close, but can Palmer
have a standout year at his age?
Time will tell.

Except as it relates to a legitimate shot at a Lombardi, a divisional title in a 4 team division within a 32 team league doesn't float my boat.

For NE... it's the TEAM (they would be predicted to repeat against any NFL Division)

For the Seahawks.. it's how bad the other 3 TEAMS in our own division are predicted to be.

just sayin'

Over the past 20 years, New England has had the luxury of playing in one of the softest divisions in the NFL. Seldom does that division produce two playoff participants. Last year was the first year since 2010 that the AFC East produced a wild card team, so I'd argue the opposite, ie that one of the major reasons why New England has had the success they've had is due to the fact that every season they play 6 games against dysfunctional opponents.
