New improved defense

Everyone knows that we have improved on the defensive line and have gotten at least two more players to be in the rotation. However we also have a new LB , I forget his name, to pair with Wagner and Wright. Plus if that isn't enough for a great season we have improved on CB one of the rookies we drafted is probably going to start over Ahead and Lane.
Then for good measure we have improved on the offensive line and have gotten Lacy.
To me this spells the best we have been in years past. I hope we get the Patriots to play in the SB this year.

Griffin may not start over Lane. We will have to wait until preseason.

We have improved on defense and the years are turning back for us. Those guys we have out there have improved and look younger than they are. Ok let's see,we had the best defense last year and we got better this year. Defense wins games. I look for a 13-3 or 12-4 season record and the SB this year.

Your team is older and slower.
You have a couple teams in your town that are 500 teams so get used to it

I just read a link on Fieldgulls to a Seattle Times article about how ESPN says the Seahawks championship window is still open, but the the core of the defense is getting older. I like the efforts they've made to restock, but I wonder if they'll have to rely on the offense more when that defense core moves on. The young guys they drafted on defense likely won't hit the ground running. This season and the next seem like the best two opportunities to get back to the dance.

I loved the draft for a couple reasons it added a lot of depth, restocked our secondary and I think it will add competition that hasn't been there the last 2 or so years. it will bring a little nastiness back to our Defense which in my opinion they have been lacking the last 2 seasons. I think some people got comfortable and our defense suffered because of it (and injuries). this draft helped restock and build for the future (hopefully)
