The sideline hit on Lane

Postby Hawkstar » Tue Jan 21, 2014 5:24 pm

It appears Jim thinks it was just an accident that Lane was Jacked up along his sideline.

Bummer, I was hoping to use this as an example of what true "class" was for the Hawks to follow....LOL

Right. Tough to convince anyone (except a Niner apparently) that Lane wasnt intentionally Jacked up. For Jim to insinuate other wise is crazy.

I don't mean to cut anyone any slack on this, but does anyone have a better angle to see what the guy did?

I have only seen the shot that was broadcast. Apparently the NFL has one other angle.

I've watched it blown up a a few times. There is no doubt the guy hits him. How intentional it was seems to vary from person to person.

I am betting a fine will be handed out on this play. The dude totally put his shoulder into Lane. Also he see him coming and others are jumping out of the way. The team should lose a cool 100k for that one and suspension of the back up player.

Check out this video, totally show the butt wipe putting his shoulder into lane. They better fine them.

Holy smokes- yeah, that vid doesn't leave any doubt.

Get ready for a little insult being piled onto your injury, SF.

Wow. That is 100% on purpose, he clearly lays the shoulder into him. What a tool.

I love the fact the Lane didn't even look back at that turd and give him any satisfaction of knowing he got hit over by him.

Lol, I have not seen the Hawks in another team's kitchen like this ever before.

And.......loving it

That better have a fine as heavy as the Jets. Also in the Video you can see all the other players scrambling and the dude starts to lean into Lane to lay a hit. All that crock on him slipping on the marker is bull, he is recoiling before he gets to it.

Wouldn't hold my breath on this one, it's pretty clear to me the guy sees him the whole way, braces for impact and institutes contact, but at this point the NFL can't even figure WHO it is, and after this amount of time, it is obviously not a priority to them.
