Word is that Russell has lost some weight and is in fantastic shape, not that he was all that overweight or out of shape in the first place, but he's never had a sprinter's frame. He might need that extra quickness this season.

Having your quarterback reporting to camp in Olympic type condition isn't necessarily proof that a great season is imminent, but it's nevertheless good news. Let's hope that Eddie Lacy reports in equally as good of shape.

I like the boxing addition. It helps with so many things including balance, quickness, subtle body movements that are effective and endurance.

Yeah reports are he went from 16% body fat to 10%, but only lost 10 or 11 lbs, which means adds muscle. Can't ever question his work ethic or will to better himself as a player. He's constantly looking for ways to gain an advantage.

He lost weight while consuming 4800 calories per day. I'm not sure if I could lose weight eating 480 calories per day.
