Are we so focused at times on how bad we are on Offense, that we forget how good the enemy is? With the 9ers, Foster was out, they have 2 Major former Ducks, and Thomas, who is the next JJ Watt lite; (IMHO) they are 2 years away from being as good or better than we are. Packers? nuff said there. Except for Beast, we were always pedestrian on offense against good teams. I think we will have to wait and see how we play against bad teams to see how bad our offense really is.

Packer's defense didn't look so hot against the Broncos yesterday who no one is yet to refer to as an offensive juggernaut.

Packers played the Falcons last night and they were one of the most prolific Offenses last year.
But they lost their OC so there will probably be a bit of an adjustment. It didn't look like it yesterday, though.

49ers are rebuilding their team, defense first. They have a lot to look forward to.

We got lucky yesterday with Foster not playing.

If they can get a shutdown corner, they have a top-10 NFL defense. I saw a lot of crazy predictions last week from Seahawks fans (predicting scores like 42-3, 37-10, etc.) and I was laughing. SF's defense is pretty damn good.

Uh, yes, the Packers defense didn't look good against the Falcon's either last night.

The Seahawks are the only team that makes Green Bay's defense look good.

It's a damn shame. Green Bay and the Rams just seem to have our number.

The Packers defense has no depth. YOu saw what happened when Daniels went down in the first quarter. The running game opened up, Ryan had all day to step up in the pocket, etc. So I'm thinking that we played a healthy GB defense but by the end of the Falcon's game, they had like 3 or 4 starters hurt and not returning to the game. Therefore, its hard to draw comparisons on how good the GB defense really is.

Not to toot my own horn and I'd have to go back and check, but I predicted a weird score, something like 14-9 Hawks, 4 FG's and a safety to get to 14, both teams not scoring TD's, all of which happened or nearly happened.

A LOT of fans forget about ugly games but we have had a TON of them for the last several years INCLUDING our superbowl win year.

Injuries sometime play a part, poor execution, or poor game planning or play calling is another, or simply the matchups between certain players or even certain teams.
