Is this waivers or can we just jump on him? I know it's not an area of need but damn!

not even a trade... what the Fk happened since we played them? He was one of the hearts and sole of those good 49er years. If he has 10 years and is a vested veteran. I don't think there is any waivers, but he becomes a FA. Personally, I'd take that trade for OT Brown first.

He's a FA -- Here's the update.. and a very nice severance package for sure.

He's also been a malcontent for the last several years, and it seems like it goes beyond just being on a losing team.
He can still play, but his age and baggage aren't worth it, imo.

I was thinking he had locker room issues, too. It would be great if he could spell KJ or Bobby a series or two especially when our offense is sputtering but I don't know about the locker room Chemistry.

After being on those good teams it has to be hard being on a team where they give up big plays and games like the last couple of years.

I'd rather concentrate our efforts on a LT.

Ha! It doesn't matter how much he wants, he's a man without a team. Ask Kaepernick how much he would take now if a team even wanted the baggage?
