Carson Breaks Arm and Needs Surgery

Postby idhawkman » Sun Oct 22, 2017 4:49 pm

Carson broke his arm today. Not that they were going anywhere this year anyways but they might be done for the year again this year. A.P. is a wasted pickup since they won't be able to do much going forward.

Said it before and I'll say it again: I *never* wish injuries on other teams.

That said, they happen, and with a 40yo QB, it's a heightened risk they accepted, just like we accept it with a 'running QB' like Wilson. If RW took a shot on a scrambling run that put him on IR, would anyone feel sorry for us? No- and they shouldn't.

Totally agree with everything starting with the never wish injury on anyone. I think it might be time for Carson to ride off into the sunset now.

Your title made me think, "Damn Chris! First your leg and now your arm?"
Now if you had said Palmer, I would have got it right away.

My bad. I can't change it now. If a Mod sees this, can you put Palmer after Carson for me?

Carson Palmer was a really good QB, but like Hassleback, Kosar and Cunningham, he joins a long list of QB's who never won the big one. I leave it experts to decide whether it was his fault or not.

Devastating injury for the Cardinals. I didn't think they were going to do much this year, but this just about seals their fate. I don't think Stanton can carry them into they playoffs. I feel sorry mostly for Larry Fitzgerald. One the most humble players I have ever seen play. Dude is such a baller, and this was probably his last shot at a ring.

No worries. I just thought it was funny and had to share my immediate reaction. ;)
