I got Bobby Wagner.

Every game he just makes tremendous plays and is all over the field.

#2 is RW.

If accounting for 80% of your team's offense isn't good enough for team MVP, let alone league MVP, there's something very wrong.

Team MVP would be RW
League MVP is yet to be determined but there are the usual suspects and you have to add in Goff, Wentz and Keenum.

Russell by virtue of him carrying the Offense without any run game for support, but my goodness Wagner is having a good year.

League and Team MVP to RW

League and Team Defensive MVP of Bobby

IMHO

You must be joking all the games RW has pulled out. I love BW but RW is the MAN.

Wagner and his play is off the charts as well. If you haven't noticed then you ought to pay attention. His play is contributing points, without his play, this team has a losing record.

The dude is playing at an defensive MVP level.

I've refrained from this discussion in part because I don't like the concept of an MVP in football. Unlike baseball or basketball, it tends to favor specific positions while completely eliminating from consideration others, like offensive guard, a position I played in high school.

But I do think there is a place for acknowledging individual achievements, and the one player I'd like to mention is Tyler Lockett. I had completely written him off after that gruesome injury last season. He's not the same player as he was before the injury, but Holy cow, coming back from what seemed like a certain career ending injury deserves some sort of mention.

Would it be a total shock of RW wins MVP and BW wins DPOTY the same year?

No, in fact that is what Chris Collingsworth was saying tonight on the broadcast.

Clearly RW and BW are on another plane and both deserve MVP.

Yes, it would be a shock but I could actually see that happening after last night. Let's watch how it plays out the rest of the season. Could be great!

When BW went out vs Jax, they scored 3 straight touchdowns.

If he can't play vs. the Rams, you can chalk up a fat assed loss right now.

I fear you are correct, Largent. And it doesn’t look good for him to play, I’ve heard.

Yeah the Hawks just signed a LB off their practice squad... doesn’t look good for Wags

Current MVP?

The Jacksonville Offensive line.

Seriously though, I think it is a push between Antonio Brown and Russell Wilson. No other QB is in RWs league this season as far as percentage of their total team offense.

That's my fear, too. The Rams match up very well against us, and if we're missing Bobby, that could tip the balance.

Rams stink vs the run, we're going to run on them. Oh wait we have Darrell Bevell as o.c.

Instead of running we will fake punt every play and have Ryan throw the ball.

Wilson . Among league leaders in all passing categories with no running game except him . Bad line
It’s not close if he wins out the regular season .

At this point of the season, winning out means winning 3 games and finishing with an 11-5 record. Brady's Patriots are 10-3, so unless they lose 2 of their last 3, they're going to secure at least a first round bye. And you have Worthlessburger's Steelers sitting at 11-2, and he's 2nd in the league behind Brady in total passing yards. He does have 13 INT's, but 5 of those came in one game. Antonio Brown is also getting some MVP attention.

Depending on his personal performance and on what happens to the other leading candidates and their teams, if we win out it might get Russell into the discussion, but it's by no means the slam dunk you're eluding to.
