Frank Clark, best draft choice in two years

I must admit, I was skeptical when the Hawks management drafted Frank Clark because of "good citizen" question marks. But he is making a name for himself on defense. We are hearing his name called more and more often in connection with sacks.

I'd take issue with your"finally reappeared" remark. He had 1 sack vs. the Rams and 2 vs. Philly. 4 of his team leading 9 sacks have come in the last 4 games. Besides, it's easy for defensive players to 'disappear' from the stat sheet yet still be playing well.

I was never against drafting Clark. I've always yielded to Pete's judgement on the defensive side of the ball. My only issue at the time was how the Hawks, in particular John Schneider, handled the negative PR surrounding Clark.
