Kris Richard, Darrell Bevel, & now Tom Cable. Major overhaul in Seattle. Too bad Gus Bradley just inked a 3 year deal with the Chargers
Who do you guys think would be a good fit for the OC gig? Chud, or John Morton, maybe.... Any thoughts on the DC position?

The flood gates having opened, it's too bad we waited an extra week and have lost out to some good names.

There's going to be some more good names after the SB. There are still 8 teams in the playoffs

I have to think that Pete and John already have some names in mind. You just don't fire the guts of your coaching staff without thinking the matter through.

I think Pete will surprise us. He will do what he and John did when they first came here: scour until they find someone that will bring something extra to the team. Pete wants to get this thing revved back up as fast as possible.

Crap! I don't show up for a day or two and look what happens. All our dreams are being carried out. Now lets hope they don't hire our worst nightmares....

Wait, has Chris Richard left? Last I heard he was just given permission to look at other opportunities.

Dunno, Trent’s. I think people perceive that the permission was getting rid of. We shall see.

It sounds like it's a mutual agreement type of thing, that even if Richard doesn't get a HC job, that he could benefit by having worked for someone other than Pete. It's unclear if he'd be welcomed back, but I get the sense that one way or another, we're getting a new DC.

A big NO to Lane Kiffin. I still have not forgot that he wasn't smart enough to know that he wasn't qualified to accept the Raider offer to be their HC several years ago. Sark was offered the job first and wisely turned it down earning a feather in his cap from me.

I also remember Pete telling the Bear's great kick and punt return specialist that he had been in Lane Kiffin's "territory" and that it had been Lane's fault that USC hadn't recruited him. Maybe it was a convenient excuse but maybe PC was telling the truth and it stuck in his craw that LK had missed such an obvious talent... Yet anther reason to NOT hire LK to be our new OC.

What's wrong with Lane . Oh and I love the Raiders. Not as much as I love the Seahawks.
