Carr is totally screwed.

Wouldn't it be funny if Beast came back to Seattle?

If he throws away Everything he's done the last 7 yrs or whatever, he'll have a fighter's chance in Oakland again:)

If I'm David Carr, I wouldn't be doing too many handsprings. Cable's OL's have never excelled in pass protection.

What happens in Oakland next season is going to be at least as interesting as what happens in Seattle. It's been a decade since Chucky has been any closer to the football field that the broadcast booth, and even then, his final few years at Tampa were complete disasters. Carr took a step back last season and has been catching a lot of flak regarding his work ethic, and the team's home venue for 2019 and 2020 is still up in the air. There's a lot of potential drama.

Especially since David Carr is an announcer.

They tossed Mike Tice that made room for Cable. I wouldn't mind him back as Cable's replacement. He was good here the first time around. I was sorry to see him go.

Didn't David Carr set the record for being sacked the most times when he played? I seem to remember something like that.

I remember when Mike Tice was a rookie T.E. for the Seahawks and he wrote a T.C. log in the paper, can't remember if it was the Times or P-I. Only the cool people read the P-I though... You know, considering the Vikings connection and all (especially a few years ago) I am surprised Tice wasn't rehired here some where along the way...

Cable was one of the more successful coaches in the hopeless stretch of raiders football at .500 I believe. It’s where he broke an assistants jaw in a meeting. I wish him the best.

For all the acrimony now it was good enough to win lots of games including a super bowl and now we will see.

No excuses going forward including the fans .

As for Chuckies deal wow. It’s insanity short of billacheat 2.
