One of the bright spots on defense last year....a substantial upgrade at Nickel from Lane IMO. I'm feeling optimistic about our defense, considering what we've lost.

He's a good player in our Defense, but the guys up front will determine if we are successful or not on that side of the ball.
Getting pressure up front is more important now with less overall talent in the Secondary.

Totally agree. And I think they have added a couple nice pieces in the 2 ex-Vikings up front. I can't remember who said it, but a notable D-lineman also said that 'the best pass rush is good coverage'.

Good, best corner on the team following road game in Arizona.

Dude was solid. I like our secondary. Hoping Thompson gets more reps as he was very good on ST and is a pretty good athlete. Alexander and Hill are both young and have tons of upside.

Wouldn't mind them drafting Griffin either.

I'm hoping history repeats itself.
John talks about players that are largely unknowns in this article:

“I’m telling you man, there’s a lot of good young football players that people don’t know about. Tedric Thompson was one of our best special teams players this last year. He didn’t get to play much at strong safety. Kam [Chancellor] was one of our best special teams players the first year he played. He didn’t get to play strong safety because Lawyer [Milloy] was here. Trust the process, man.”
