Checking back in before the season starts. Anything happen this off-season??

I really like our draft in Penny and the TE we picked up.

Earl is wanting a new contract or to be traded which I don't think is going to happen. Kam and Avril retired due to injuries and bennett was traded to the Eagles.

I think that pretty much covers it.

Oh, other than the coaching changes for OL, OC and DC. Welcome back Mr. Norton this time as DC.

Edited: Sherman went to the 9ers and Graham went to Green Bay.

Penny was drafted in the 1st round and so was Shaun Alexander not saying he will be as good as SA but he may be as good as Lynch and he has a similar style as Lynch. Regardless if you want to concentrate on the good then Penny is the ticket.

We did get a refresh on the coaching staff and are seeing the end of the Legion of Boom, but you already know that stuff ... hereabouts it the same as it ever was.

BTW, I'm less worried about the moving on from a secondary dominant defense because we still have Bobby and the best LB crew in the league around which to solidify the new lineup. I think Pete can work with this D. I still worry about our O-line ... are we ever going to let these guys play together long enough to properly gel?

I'm curious if Vannett turns out to be our 3rd stringer at TE this year. I think our TE's are going to be a lot more involved than before and hopefully we see a few double sets.
