I know that he's a rookie but I see big things for him I am going to say 12 touchdowns this season

depends on how healthy Carson is throughout the year. If Carson is healthy he might get from 5-10 based on limited play time. If Carson goes down then I could see the number you posted.

Not a lot I think. I think Carson will be the primary back with Penny the change up.

Carson looked pretty good the other night, so I'm going with 3 or 4 TD's for Penny. I'm with Cbob, Carson will be the workhorse getting the bulk of the snaps while Penny's play this season will be pretty limited.

I don’t expect more than 5 total from the RB group. Hangnails, gout, colic and other assorted maladies will limit effectiveness beside the fact they are running behind the NFL’s worst OL.....

I can't see that few with Carroll putting more emphasis on the running game.

I think he may get a few from passes as well as runs, and I think that later in the year he will start getting more touches so I think about 5 or 6 should be expected if he stays healthy.

Do you mean to tell me Rashaard Penny might not be the next Shaun Alexander. Lol seriously I hope he develops into a great RB at this level NFL.

We all hope he will be the next SA without the falling down at first contact.

Remember the first couple years SA was here he didn't get many carries until Watters moved on.

Well, the first year maybe. Shawn had 309 carries for 1318 yards and 14 TD his second year (along with 44 receptions for another 343 yards and 2 TD) ... that second year started one of the greatest 5 years runs for a RB in NFL history.

Yeah, I just remember wanting to see him carry the ball more because when he did he would just glide through the line. I know why they kept Watters as the starter but I really wanted to see SA carry it that first year. I guess my desire made it seem like 2 years when it was really only one.

Being a big Running Watters fan I wasn't in a hurry to see Shawn supplant him, but I couldn't have been happier with how he did it!

Maybe Penny will develop more slowly and take a couple years to do it.
