Surprises and Tidbits from Week 1

The 7 new coaches, or new to their teams, went a combined 0-7. The worst performance was by Matt Patricia's Lions, who got booed out of the stadium, which was half empty after Lions fans left before the 4th quarter, leaving it to mostly partying Jets fans. The Jets scored 31 points in the 3rd quarter.

Sam Darnold's very first play from scrimmage was a pick 6.

The Browns ended their losing streak, but they didn't win, either. There was a whole lot of controversy surrounding Laveon Bell's holdout as many of his teammates had called him out.

The Bucs upset the Saints, Saquan Barkley ran for 108 yards and 1 TD in the Giants home loss to the Jags, and the Ravens hammered the Bills, the team that nudged them out of the playoffs last season.

On SNF, the Packers and an injured Aaron Rodgers came from behind to beat the Bears, our Week 2 opponent. And last but not least, the Rams spoiled the $100 million man's return to the Black Hole...or is it the Stink Hole?

A very interesting Week 1.

For one half last night I thought the Rams looked beatable but their O and D lines took control and made it a cakewalk.

Its going to be a huge problem playing them I think.

Beast looked in form though

I read somewhere that this is the best start for a Browns team in 14 years. Ouch.
Barkley had 1 big run but didn't do much else.
The Bears don't yet know how to win games. They coasted after half time and it cost them. They will be tough for us to beat in their home opener.
