Irish Greg and I just got through attending the Hawks-Raiders game, and we were thoroughly amazed at how many Hawk fans and NFL fans in general there are in the UK.

We met up with the president of the Seahawkers Booster Club. Here in a few days when I get back to the States, I'll send Mak and Yoder the email addresses of the club president, secretary, etc. The Brits did a phenomenal job putting on the game and associated activities. Heck, I even shook hands with Walter Jones (sorry, no pictures) and got to get up close to Jacob Green, John Schneider, and a few other former Hawks.

Sure did. But being that I was in the processed potatoes industry for 40 years, I wasn't that enamored. It was good, though.

Was the fish at least above average?

It was a very large filet of fish, not sure what variety. It was good, but I'll have to qualify my remarks as I seldom order fish and chips. I generally don't like deep fried fish as the process is so hot that it tends to cook out all the flavor, and as I mentioned, since I've eaten so many French fries through my employment that I have a hard time paying for what I've always been able to eat for free.

I'll start a separate thread when I get back. It's currently 8:00 am London time on Wednesday morning and my return flight departs at 12:55pm. I don't arrive home until 9:00 PM pm PDT Wednesday. I'll see if I can talk Irish Greg into making an appearance and throw in his 2 cents worth. There's a lot of interesting things that we experienced that I'd like to share with you folks.

Have a good one!
