Ok, so here's what I've come up with from the ESPN prediction tool found here:
http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs/machinePost what you come up with here.

I'd switch Kansas City and San Diego. IMO the Chiefs will beat the Chargers tomorrow. I also think that Texas gets the #2 seed, Patriots the 3rd seed.
In the NFC, I'd give HFA to the Saints.

Seahawks vs Dallas (will probably get the Sunday late slot,too... it's Dallas!)
That's our best possible matchup. Would you rather be in Big D or the early Saturday game in Chicago that time of year?

You might all have done this already but if you click on that link, you can pick the last three week's matchups and the result will automatically show you the result (e.g. the picture I posted).
I never thought LAC would be the one seed and was quite surprised by the Rams also being the 1 seed but when I went week by week given the matchups, that's how it turned out.
With KC having Tyrek Hill come up a little lame last week and them losing Hunt as their RB, I give the advantage to SD for the West title. I also think that N.O. has a tougher road to the last 3 weeks with playing Carolina twice. I could be wrong on that one but I think they lose once to Carolina while the Rams have pretty much a cake walk to the last three weeks games.

Well that game last night with KC and LAC was quite interesting and if we beat the Cheifs next week I'm pretty sure the Chargers are going to be the 1 seed in the AFC.
I think I read yesterday that someone on the Saints sent a broom to the Panters. They play each other twice in the next 2.5 weeks. I don't think that was a smart move at all.
I think it is shaping up for the two L.A. teams to be the #1 seed in both conferences.

Boy, if that wouldn't be a travesty! Those are the two worst supported franchises in the league. The Chargers can't even fill a 30,000 seat stadium and most of their home crowds are comprised of visiting fans. On my NFL Sunday trips to Las Vegas, despite the fact that they are geographically closer, the Rams and Chargers are the two least seen jerseys.
However, even after the game last night, the Chiefs still have the #1 seed, so they'll have to lose at least one more game. It will add some flavor to their game with us next week.

I agree with all of this.
Cheifs are @ Seattle and then home for the Raiders who are surging right now.
Chargers have Ravens in LA (across country trip for the Ravens) and then at Denver (Denver probably won't be playing for anything at that point but the Chargers may be playing for a week off).
It would be a travesty but we all know how much the NFL wants to build the LA market so maybe they think this will help build a fan base. Who knows what the NFL is thinking these days....

As it is every year, health will be a big factor in who moves to the next round.
For us, Penny has some knee issues and is expected to miss this game against the 49ers as well Wright might not make it back, either.
With Carson having a previous hip problem, he might get banged up a little more than usual having to make up carries that Penny would
otherwise have. I expect Davis to get a lot more work, though so he might take some pressure off of Carson.

I get a charge out of all these Seattle sports experts says the "Seahawks are in the Playoffs"
BS and add it up
You have to win 1 or 2 yet no guarantees

My original prediction wasn't too far off.
In the AFC, I got all the teams right and had the AFC West winner/#5 seed backwards.
In the NFC, I had 5 of the 6 teams right and the #1/#2 seeds flipped.
Not bad for a prediction 3 weeks ahead of time.

This seems like a better thread for my comments regarding the wild card/top seeded teams than our pick'um thread.
I have never seen a season where the 4 wild card teams (Hawks, Eagles, Chargers, and Colts) are all playing better football than the top 4 seeds (Chiefs, Pats, Saints, and Rams). I teased mykc a little bit when he expressed hope that the Hawks might host the NFCCG vs. the Eagles and noted that never in the history of the league has two wild card teams faced each other in the playoffs, but this could be the season where it happens.

That would be awesome! Hopefully we can start with a win on Saturday!!
