Its wide open

There has never been a year in my memory where the league championship in more there for the taking than this season.
Normally there are the usual suspects. The Pats forever then whoever else has risen up on a given year. But this year? The Rams were supposedly unbeatable even with a suspect D due to their unstoppable offense and the Saints were unbeatable due to their dominance on both sides of the ball . Both are playing their worst ball of the year with the Saints getting abused at Dallas who promptly got SHUT OUT by the middling colts. The Rams have dropped back to back games being utterly humiliated by the Bears and backing it up being beat by Nick Foles and the middling Eagles at home.
Then in the NFC there is not any other dominant team. With Dallas crashing back to earth any of 3 teams in the least have a shot including washington with someone I never heard of at QB coming off a 5 game skid.
The Bears might be the best, better than whoever wins the NFC east for sure, winner over the Rams already. The Hawks are on the cusp of making the playoffs and going to the winner of the NFC least. Even despite the blizzard of ill timed flags last game they were right there in OT to get it done, one flag away or maybe 14, a housed KO and only because the big fat drunk Pollock couldn't seem to take a hit for the team.. A win vs the Chiefs they are definitely a team that can go all the way and even if they lose they have as close to a gimme at home vs a dreadful AZ team as there ever is and have still proven they can hang with anyone on a given day.
Which leads me to the AFC in the title game. This appears to be the year in NE when the wheels start to come off, at least the lug nuts are loosening. Pittsburgh? Up and down. KC? They just aren't the same dominant offense without Hunt barely squeezing out a home win vs the college offense of Baltimore and backing it up losing to the chargers after surrendering a 14 point 4th quarter lead and as much as I love Mahomes game he's been inconsistent and more mistake prone.
Frankly I think the Chargers and Rivers quest to cement his HOF resume are the best bet at this point. But nobody is invincible this year. This is the year any of the 12 teams in the tournament has a legitimate shot. Just gotta get in.......,
GOI HAWKS!!!!!!
