Last Game in The Black Chit Hole

The Oakland City Council has made sure that the Raiders won't be playing in the hood next season in a cut off your nose to spite your face decision, so it's almost certain that the MNF game vs. Denver will be the last we'll ever see of that God forsaken slum. The most likely scenario is that the Raiders will wind up playing in the Giants baseball stadium. Their new stadium in Las Vegas opens in 2020.

Our old friend Marshawn Lynch, and Oakland native, made a pitch before the Oakland City Council urging them to approve a new baseball stadium for the A's. They could lose all 3 of their professional sports franchises in as many years.

It's interesting about the talks with the Giants.
I wonder if they've cleared it with the 49ers beforehand as it would, as the article said, violate the territorial rights clause
of the NFL bylaws.
The article mentioned Levi Stadium and it would seem more likely they share with the 49ers as it would give the owners a financial
boost for a year. At least it looks like a better situation from here, but who knows maybe there's some animosity there.

The 49ers only other option, according to some, would be to allow the Raiders to share their stadium for a year. The NFL can put a lot of pressure on them behind the scenes. We're not talking Jerry Jones here.
I've been to the Giants stadium and it's great. Saw Berry Bonds whack 2 over 3 games a few years ago. I would go there for football, if i had the chance.

Certainly better than many other options, like Sam Boyd stadium in Vegas (125 degrees on the field during August & September)
