Is he just trying to connect some possibly nonexistent dots or might it be Russ’s agent beginning the process and leaking a rumor?

Just face it!

RW has always had trouble with women and now he has one beyond his league with a ring in his nose.

NY or LA so he can be like Broadway Joe

Just the fact with hanging with an active rich female

I'm not even sure that there was a rumor, just speculation by trying to put 2 and 2 together. Like I said in the other thread, there is no quote from either Russell, his wife, his agent, or anyone associated with the Hawks of anything less than a mutual desire that Russell remain a Seahawk.

Condotta pointed out that the Hawks don't generally enter this early into the 'big' contract negotiations with the players they really want to keep. Additionally, there's still the issue of our long term ownership that's not settled.

Neverless, until Russell inks an extention, we're going to have to contend with rumors and speculation. It comes with the territory.

Yup, just Like Russell to the Saints a month or so ago. Just some writer saying "hey, this would make sense", and all the other outlets reporting it as if it were an actual story.

I'm beginning to think it was a planted story by Russ's Agent to get some leverage before negotiations begin.
