If the author wanted to sound like it was real, then it should have been written better, it read like a high school term paper.
If the author was trying to be ironic, or facetious or funny...they failed miserably, as it was not funny, or clever in the least.
I'm just not sure what that was, or what the author was going for there.
Amateur hour whatever the case.

That's the stupidest thing I have ever heard. There is no way a guy that makes 10 million a year is going to throw a game come on.
Paul Allen bought us a title???? Good luck with that, he should have bought it in 05 that way could have 2!!

The Onion would have done a better job. If you're doing satire, at least make it somewhat amusing.
