I hate to say it but I saw little negative from the Niners.
278 yds rushing..and their D looks like th real thing
Will be interesting how the Rams game goes next week and how the Hawks handle the Browns who must be humiliated
Old man Sherm had another pic and Bosa is a brute

Hard to tell from this game if the Niners are that good or if the Browns are that bad. Mayfield looked horrible, and the rest of the team gave up at halftime. Even the coaches gave up as they kept punting in the late 3rd/4th quarter when they were down by 4 scores.
But as a famous coach once said, you are what your record says you are, and right now, the Niners are undefeated. They are the team to beat in our division.

We've seen teams like the 49ers before playing a very weak schedule against very weak teams looking like world beaters. Then they hit some real contenders and get buzz sawed. Their QB looks weak to me. We'll see if he can step up in the tough games.

So who do you root for this Sunday LA Rams vs Santa Clara 49'ers? Hard choice at this point in the season --

Yea, I wasn't impressed with Jimmy G. either. But the Niners line play on both offense and defense was dominant. Browns were 1-11 on third down.

Oh I'm rooting Rams. Easy for me.
If Im betting I say 9ers. That team looks really good. As has been said the QB looks like he may be the weakest link and hes not bad, just not Russ. Fortunately at this point we totally control our destiny vs the 9ers and dont see them for quite a while giving them a chance to stumble, get beat up, complacent whatever. Also for our team to gel and improve especially on defense. Right now they look like the best team in the division....
If we cant beat that browns team next weekend were not very good either.

I'm watching, but not rooting either way. This is the 49ers first "Are you for real?" game. Rams will come in amped up with a good game plan looking to take down the leader. The 49ers have played trash teams. No one is convincing me Cleveland is some kind of barometer team. If the 49ers can beat the Rams, they are a real contender. If they trash the Rams, they are a top tier contender. If they lose to the Rams in a close game, they're a contender. If they get wiped out by the Rams, then they're a pretender.

Yea, me, too. It's too early to start rooting for one division team to beat another.
I suspect that the Rams will come out prepared. They'll have had 10 days to prepare, and the Niners will be coming off a short week. But Goff is so horrible at handling pressure that the Niners could force a couple turnovers like they did last night.

I think if the Rams lose this weekend they are done for the season. I think it will demoralize them and start a fracture in the locker room like most teams that lose the SB have. We'll see though.

I would normally agree with you but coming off a SB loss and having high expectations make some situations a little different in the locker room. We'll see if that locker room cracks are comes back (that is "IF" they lose today).

Wow the Lions got absolutely screwed over in the last of the 4th quarter by the refs twice

Tonight was way, way worse then the "batting the ball" that should-of-been called on KJ when swung and whacked the football out of the end zone to ensure a touchback a few years ago.

Way way worse. The first bogus call turned 4th and 20 and a punt into a touchdown drive. Second ended the game. In between a Ray Charles on an obvious pi that puts Detroit in scoring position . It’s a joke.

I actually agreed with the batting of the ball no call against KJ a few years back. I do think that the refs should be allowed to interpret a technicality like that and judge it against the intent of the rule. In that case, the rule was implemented so as to prevent a player from batting a ball and keeping it away from an opponent. In the case of KJ, there wasn't a defender near him and he was at the very back of the end zone and the ball would have gone out of bounds w/o his intervention.
The outrageous thing in that particular play is that our coaching staff had their heads up their ying yangs as they're the ones that told their team to do just what KJ did.
