Still lots significant injuries for Hawks going into tonight's game. Doesn't look good for a victory from that standpoint. Man, if we don't get healthier, it looks bad for the rest of the season. Pocic must have really gotten his bell rung.
Seems like Carson misses a significant amount of time every year with injuries.

I'm not overly optimistic, either. Russell is going to have to return to the way he was playing in our first 5 games, and that's going to be tough with our top two running backs still out.
It's unusual for an offensive linemen to sustain a serious concussion. There must be something else going on with Pocic.

I read that Hyde is a go for the game. Have you heard different? We are going to be down our top two corners and center again, though. We need to get closer to a 60-40 run pass split and this would be a good game to do that, but we have to be healthy enough at those positions as well.

It's a prime time game in our awful green uniforms and Russ doesn't often lose two games in a row, let alone 3. I'm pretty confident.

				Griffin(CB) - out
Dunbar(CB) - out
Thorpe(CB) - out, and moved to IR
Which means Reed and Flowers start. Inspire confidence? Not so much. Flowers I will continue to harp on, I don't think I have seen him make a single positive play all year, and when the ball comes his way and it is an incompletion, he celebrates like he forced a game ending play. But these 2 are responsible for covering Hopkins and Kirk, it's a total mismatch.
Pocic(C) - out
Fuller(C) - questionable(ankle) but likely a go
Simmons(G) - out
Haynes(G/C) - activated from IR
Hyde(RB) - good to go, no injury designation
Carson(RB) - questionable, Pete sounds like he will give it a go, probably will split carries with Hyde at best
Homer(RB) - Doubtful
Lockett(WR) - questionable, but sounds like he will go
Mayowa(DE) - good to go

CB situation is scary. DJ Reed looked much better than Flowers and an injured Dunbar but the thought of him or Flowers covering DeAndre Hopkins is disconcerting at best. Fuller giving it a go is good for us, nobody wants to be down to their 3rd String Center. Hyde/Carson will be better than whatever we have been throwing out there the last few weeks (Dallas/Collins/Homer). Hopefully Lockett is close to 100%. Mayowa coming back is good for us. He is our second best pass rusher now and Dunlap, Mayowa, Green, and Reed isn't a terrible 4 man rush. It's not great but it's by far the best 4 man rush we have had up to this point.

Hyde was a limited participant in practices this week, so I doubt that we see him get more than 10-12 touches. Look for a lot of DJ Dallas tonight. Along with Pocic being out, it doesn't help our chances of re-establishing a credible running threat. Russell is going to have to play at the top of his game.
Cornerback is definitely the biggest concern, and if we have to put a spy on Murray, it will put more pressure on our secondary.
The nuclear waste puke green uniforms are my least favorite but we do seem to have some decent luck in them.

Cards are getting on a roll, the Seahawks are stumbling with injuries at critical positions.
Cards win - maybe even win big.

What's the status with Mike Iupati? He came out of last week's game with a back problem. Looked to be in a lot of pain. I think it's one of those walking wounded injuries but not sure.

I don't think he was even on the injury report all week so I think he's playing.

Jordan Simmonds is hurt and not playing, Pocic is still dealing with concussion issues, Fuller got a high ankle sprain, but
Phil Haynes has been activated and Jones can also play Center, so who knows what's going to happen. I understand that
Fuller might be a go tonight, so maybe it's a minor high ankle sprain.

Dunbar to IR. Sounds like Penny and Taylor are really close. We get our RB's back and another rusher, we have a chance to finish strong.

Touchdown! On the first series Russ did a good job of taking what the defense was giving and not trying to force the ball downfield. Good sustained drive which is important because it keeps K. Murray off the field. And you can see he difference Carlos Hyde being healthy and in the lineup makes.

What was that penalty for "unsportsmanlike conduct" on the punt that led to the Card's first touchdown? Ref said, "defender went out of bounds and didn't immediately come back in." What was that all about? The defender was pushed out of bounds and came back in pretty quick. Did I misunderstand what the ref said or did he misspeak?

The Gunner on a punt return has to get back in bounds as soon as possible or it’s ‘unsportsmanlike like conduct.

Defense... pathetic. Murray hasn’t thrown the ball more than 15 yards downfield and yet we let them drive it down our throat... looks like it’s back on the offense.

I hope that missed extra point doesn't come back to bite us.

Gotta say, it's a lot more comfortable (to watch) being able to run the ball and have some balance.

Yeah really, 160 yards rushing really helps RW! Hyde has got a lot more left in the tank than I thought. Great win, I am so shocked! Yummy Crow River!

Oh, so you all mean that Pete was right all along about balance in the offense being a good thing and "Let Russ Cook" is not really the best plan once the opposing defenses get film on it. (at least for tonight, anyway) And Carson should be back for Philly.
