I doubt it. Pete seems happy with how the Defense played the last half of the season.
I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking it was a lost opportunity to get a real good teacher, but would Norton leave or would he want to
become the LB's coach again?

I'd have even been happy letting Norton keep the DC mantle with Dan as a Defensive QC/Assistant Head Coach type arrangement. though moving Norton back to position coach with Quinn as DC would have been preferable.

I would like that as well, but why would Quinn take that when he has full control over the D in Dallas. Also, I honestly believe PC needs a new perspective defensively. I'm not advocating for a new DC but if he does add somebody to the defensive staff I would like it to be somebody who has had success in other defensive systems.

Pete's not going to change his Defense so someone from a different system would put them into a butting heads situation.
Those situations never work well. But it would be good if he did take some lessons from other systems.

I know he's not changing his system and I wouldn't want him to, but what I would like is for him to get an outside perspective. I agree he is not going to do it, but that's what I would like. Just because you have guys from two different systems doesn't mean that they will butt heads. Furthermore, they wouldn't butt heads because there wouldn't be any question about who is in charge. Pete, if the other guy doesn't like it he would be gone.
