Other Teams Cuts

Postby NorthHawk » Wed Aug 09, 2023 8:52 am

I've been looking over some of the other teams rosters for DL and the Jets stand out as they currently have 16 players listed as DL with some of them pretty good - or with good experience.
Their starting DL is one of the best in the league and they seem to have some good talent (even if you include Al Woods and QJeff formerly of Seattle) or experience that might fit here because we seem to be thin along the DL.
Because their starting 4 are so good, some of the younger players might not have had a chance to play a lot and have some good potential. They won't keep 16, so a bunch will have to go so we should keep an eye on them to maybe poach a player or two.

Here's a link to their roster:

Boy, I can remember the days when teams sat waiting like vultures for our cuts. Now, here we are waiting for the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets cuts.

The Eagles are another team deep in DL with 13 players listed and a bunch of good starters or young draft picks.
Both teams will have some difficult decisions along the DL this year and if we've done some scouting, maybe we might find a starter or at least someone to improve the talent base along the DL to help when the inevitable injuries occur.
