Defenses don't matter in the modern NFL

All this talk about NFL rule changes favoring offense and what does the Chiefs and Ravens game turn into: a defensive struggle.

Playoff football requires good defense. You can get through the regular season with a high flying offense with all the special bells and whistles, but you run into a game like today where both defenses are clamping down on each other and you better be able to play that type of ball or you're going to lose.

Well, the Ravens committed two unforced turnovers in the endzone, so if I were KC's defense, I wouldn't be bragging a helluva lot.
