But, as annoying as it's going to be, I can't say that people are wrong to start asking whether this Chiefs team is a dynasty. I don't know their cap situation, but they have built wisely. Superstar QB, then OL studs, interior DL superstar, and one big offensive weapon. That feels sustainable and is the model that the Hawks should try to emulate.
10-4 on the quality of the game.
I think that the Chiefs are a dynasty. They've gone to 4 of the past 5 SB's, winning 3 of them, including the last two in a row. In the past 5 years, the only season they didn't go to the SB they lost in the conference championship game....in overtime. They've gone to the AFCCG 6 straight seasons. They've won their division for 8 straight years, racked up 11 straight winning seasons, a 108-39 regular season record and a .735 winning percentage over the past 9 years and went to the playoffs in all 9 of those seasons. They are by far the most consistent, most successful team in recent history.
In this day and age of free agency and parity, that's a pretty amazing feat. Not quite to the level of the Patriots, but nevertheless impressive enough to qualify as a dynasty in my book.
