My memory was that obiken started the "2-2 is a DISASTER" thread, but maybe it was hox. My [now very hazy] memory is that he saw 2-2 as either/both underperforming his thought of where the record should have been and that a 2-2 start meant the Hawks wouldn't do anything of worth that season.

Or was it "0-2 is a DISASTER"? My memory is clearly slipping. Either that, or this is just a really, really good beer.

It was 2-2 is a disaster and it was the 2005 season where we ended up 13-3. It’s been a funny reminder for us to RELAX if we get off to a slow start. It was the old PI forum and I thought it was Obiken, but not sure.

Thanks for the refresher. Yes I think it was definitely Obiken. In his defense, that season did seem to be slipping away at that point. But man what an unexpected ride that followed!

Yeah, Obi was always the Debbie Downer of the forum, even more of pessimist than I am. He's one of a number of posters that just plain disappeared. I hope he's OK.

Obi was a downer, but a good mind. I also wonder about missing member's well-being sometimes. I too hope that he's OK, along with others that "vanished". Although sometimes folks just move on from these sorts of sites/communities. I am too busy with life myself the last few years to post regularly. Or I feel like I don't have anything relevant to add:)

Well, "not having anything relevant to add" has never stopped me. 90% of my posts are irrelevant.
