49ers Billboard in Seattle

Postby yoder » Wed Dec 18, 2013 4:25 pm

An obvious payback for the Hawks flag flown around their stadium. A few questions:

Has anything of this caliber been done before in NFL history?

How long until it's defaced? Guess they didn't think about that.

How far does this go? Paint Candlestick in blue and green?

I'm totally into the rivalry/pranking, it's all in good jest so far, but are fans taking it to the "Steal the High School Mascot" mentality?

Just wondering.

Yoder Rott already started a threat on this topic, don't know what to say when a mod don't know what is going on on his own site ;)

Other question I have for you Yoder. When I get to site you can see who is logged in and between the names I noticed this login name "Google [Bot]", now I don't know much of websites but is google already tracking HawkShack?

First of all they need find a company that would be willing to allow them to post something like that and second, why do you think it will take a month before that board will come down :D

Like your thought about the brick, if it also will last that long

Sorry "wait_a_sec", didn't mean to double post or step on your toes. I've had a few long nights over here.

For Google bot, here's info for anyone interested. It's friendly.

All of this is a bit amusing, and it's nice that some of the SF billboard $$ will be going to a Seattle charity, but mostly the entire thing - on both sides - is Lame.

Wow impressive all those Lombardis. When was the last one? When their SB losing QB(only one in 9ers history BTW)was about 3 years old, in 1994.

What it tells me is Seattle is really in the 9ers heads, team and fans alike. And they should be worried. The Hawks are going to stuff them when they get back up here in a few weeks, assuming they make it out of the wild card round. Its laughable.

I guess the Billboard has taken a turn...For the good. The niner fan that started this has raised enough money to do it and will donate all extra $$ to Seattle Children's Hospital. So some Hawk fan (Christopher Hart) has started a fundraising for the San Francisco's Children's Hospital (just to show we can do better I guess) and an anonymous niner fan has pledged to match what ever he raises up to $100.000.00 and donate it to both hospitals. I am going to donate some, how about you?

Well rumor has it that the billboard is up......30 miles south of Seattle in Fife LMAO. Guess if you look on US road map it is located right next to Centurylink Field. Dear silly whiner nation, thank you for your donation to Seattle Childrens Hospital, we should do this again
