Jody is pulling the plug on the estates / Vulcan ownership of the Trailblazers but specifically said NOT the Seahawks at this time.
Could be worth 3.5 Billion and most going to the charities. Pretty cool.

I figure the Seahawks will be sold at some point. I hope they find another great owner who wants to win with money. Not like the Mariners owner who is content to lose as long as they manage a reasonable profit keeping costs down to ensure positive cash flow.

They have to be sold. It was in Paul Allen's will that they be sold, but there was no timeline set for it. It would have been disastrous to have set one.

There was a penalty as part of the stadium construction agreement if the Hawks were sold prior to 2025, that the Hawks would have to pay a large fee to the state. It was deemed prudent management of his estate to wait at least until that date passes before selling.
