I had to cook dinner. The NFL is tired of our Seahawks blowing people out on these nationally televised games. They are using the officials to call completely BOGUS calls on our players trying to help Washington. It is so blatant I don't see how they could claim innocence.

I mean, calling a false start on Unger for a head bob. A head bob??? ALL Centers "bob" their head just before they snap the ball. PH goes in motion, he is ALLOWED to move before the snap, but NOT according to these officials.

All Goody did with his manipulation of the officials was get our hawks mad, now they are really going to punish Washington. Hey Snyder, blame Goodell.

There were a few bad calls early on, but our guys are killing drives all on their own now. I have not seen this sloppy of play for a while.

Now, a third TD by Percy Harvin called back??? Okung and Carpenter seem to want Washington to win.

Great game RW, Marshawn, Harvin, Jon Ryan, Wagner, KJ. On the rough to look at film list: Carp, officials & some significant foot shooting.

In the end- we won on the road by 10. Just feels like we left some ducks on the pond.

Like you said, this wasn't anywhere *near* being a 10-point game. As you alluded to, there were three TDs called back, and I know for a fact two of them were on blown calls the level of which we won't see for a decade (phantom holding and UC for pancaking) and another I can't remember offhand (but I rewound a few times to try to figure out what they might have seen).

We didn't play flawlessly and we still (in a normally officiated world) probably would have won by ~30 points. Not a bad night.

Well, I don't even know at this point if I'd agree it was worst, but that's right- what can they say the call was? He has to move more than a step or two if he's "going in motion"? He kinda jerked at the onset, but every lineman faking his "looking around" face does that in spades.

I'm looking for the explanation on that one, too- thanks for the reminder.

The refs are the refs, and you can expect their ineptness to continue as long as the league exists.

Now, back home to host a Cowboys team that's nowhere near as good as their 4-1 record.

Can't take anybody lightly, but the Seahawks should beat Dallas by 17+, IMO.

Sorry I was at Kells watching the game, drinking a Guinness, and smoking a Partagas! I predicted 24-20 Hawks, we covered +3 and they fell off -3. So not too bad huh? I just thought the Skins would bring their A game. Penalties killed us!!
