Bullsh*t call vs Okung. Cost us 4 pts and he did not hold on the play...Quinn fell.

Maybe, but you gotta be smart as well at this level. He should have removed his hand from his jersey the minute he started falling.
Not smart. And yeah, so even though it was ticky tack, it looked to the refs like holding.

Penalties and o-line are killing us.

Like I said Carrol needs to get a handle on the emotions of his team. Way to many penalty's!

I blame coaches for this. Sure be aggressive but to cost us so much each game in penalties is not smart.

Thought he did bro...instead of watching the FG, I rewatched the play like 3 or 4 times...never saw Okung with a handful of anything, just his right arm extended across Quinn's chest, hand open. I'll check it out again.

looks like we got the third down monkey off our back. PENALITIES though is a HUGE liability on us going into the playoffs.
At least in 05 we got jobbed because of some ticky tack and made up chit. But this year, we could get jobbed just because no Seahawk coach wants us to play with discipline. Ridiculous.

Both SC guys, Pete and Sark, at the top or near the top of their respective leagues in penalties. Can't quite determine if that means anything...can't quite determine that it don't. Just. Stop.

I'll watch the game later and we can go round and round a little bit on this one in another thread. Open hand is good, and we all know the refs miss calls all the freaking time. But in just looking at it once, it looked like holding to me, although brief and not worthy of a call.

Damn. Tate taking too many hits this year. He's going to have pugilistic dementia by 30 at this rate. Pete needs to get our D guys re-signed then go big for the O this FA / draft.

This is the problem in the NFL right now:

That hold on Okung is easy to technically defend- the problem is that level of "holding" takes place on *every* play by virtually *every* player on the dmn field.

So the NFL in 2014 is the fan watching a great pass, run, or tackle, then cringing and holding their breath to see where the Lazy Referee Roulette Wheel stops- red you get to keep your play, black you call it back.

So frustrating.

What else is new under the sun DR? ;)

I expect it now a days. They are gunning for us. We just have to freaking SCORE with our offense some day. Hopefully today.

So far this game plan looks like there are some running lanes being created for Lynch as well as some short passing by Wilson. Very physical game. GO HAWKS

Agreed with that mistake intentional grounding. But WIllson's drop and that call against Okung killed us in the first half. Not to mention the 4 or so extra penalities that had us moving backwards the entire first half.
