WOW...Marshawn looking for a fight! Grabbing his helmet to run onto the field...we need to reel this in like now.

I'd have a million yards in penalties this year if they only knew how frequently I "verbally abuse" the officials.

Really Hawkwow,

I love you like a red headed step brother, but that hit when combined with the other antics of Langford helped him get ejected.
I doubt that if he would have JUST hit the official by accident he would have been ejected.

But you have to admit its entertaining.

And back atcha bro...I just feel these officials, per usual, are impacting the games too much. He definitely made contact by accident and that shoulda' been considered. Penalize him for his extra-curricular ..but to eject him? Maybe I'm just irritated with the commentators too. "Oh this is ugly" "oh this is embarrassing". I love the emotions both teams are showing and frankly, more so the Rams. They have nothing to play for but bringing it all every play. Admirable but I also see your point.

Now that has to be reviewed by the NFL. This crew is not good.

Yep. We'll get a letter on Tuesday: Reading between the lines: "sorry we blew your TD, causing your TE to break his leg on the following play". These asshats need to learn the rules. Both Wilson and Willson knew the rule. One may not see action for awhile. Sorry I'm ranting...had high expectations for Luke this post.

Pretty funny actually. The announcers are usually okay, but the embarrassing stuff and this is ugly is a bit much. Just STFU and announce the game okay?

I've invited my 9er neighbors over to watch the raising of the Hawk Championship flag...sure to be more exciting than the spectacle of a herd of stampeding hyenas. Perhaps not as exciting for them as a 20-20 tie with Zona....woooohooooo!!! Let's go Zona! Way to go Hawks!

Thanks for blessing us with that lady Luck, Sis...and a heartfelt congrats to 12s around the world and a special thanks to those in attendance today. Mahalos!!!

Well, hope they enjoy their 3 games on the road.
That last pass by Kap for 29 yards should not have happened. But they have decent receivers even if Crabtree is not 100 percent.

Could the Niners have dropped to the 6-seed if they'd lost? I thought they were assured of 5th seed win or lose, and the only question hinging on the outcome was whether ARI could grab the 6-seed...

Lucky toss, but Kaep may just be salvageable. What a tremendously difficult situation Baalke is in with him. What if he demands top 5 money? You and I send him walking: Sandwich and a road map, but what the heck do the 9ers do with no back-up (of note) and a low pick in a draft where the majority of QBs may saty in school? You can only love it.

Now I'm blasting "we are the champions" out the window towards their abode. The song may be hurting me more than them...but it's something I will have to endure ...just a few more times. : )

Thanks, HawkWow.

Something kinda funny to note about this game, or more specifically, the STL defense having their little meltdown there:

I was listening to Raible at the time (not watching) and haven't gone back to watch the game yet, but weren't we rather close to the endzone when they started losing their marbles, so the net effect of all their sht-headedness was something like 10-15 yards of field position (excluding the ejection)?

Yep....I'm going off my memory and approximating actual field position, but let's say we were on their 10...that got halved, then halved again and I looked at the wife and signaled TD, LOL. I really didn't think the Langford ejection was necessary, but that's just MO, and certainly subjective. I don't believe there was intent (in contacting the ref) and to me that matters most...unless the ref died or something. And had that happened, I think Langford should have been given a game ball. J/K.

Two of those penalities were already made after we were half the distance to the goal. So it was half half and half the distance to the goal, got so short that it didn't really matter after the 2nd penalty. But still I haven't seen that in a while in the NFL.

Don't really disagree, but intent doesn't matter, and while that may sound like a technicality, I think if you consider the alternative it becomes obvious why that is.

They don't want to open the can of worms that comes if they allow players to hit refs in the face as they're looking away and pointing to a scoreboard because that would be pretty easy to fake, right?

I'm not saying that kind of stuff would be common or likely, but when you put yourself in position of trying to decide the intent of the offender, it's a nightmare (see also: "hate crimes").
