RIP Ross Perot

Passed today at age 89. I met the man once in the hallway of his HQ building back in 2004 or 2005. He had some great feats in his life most notable in my mind are:

1. Sent the aircraft to Iran to rescue my wife and other dependents of the coup in Iran circa 1979.

2. Got Clinton elected to President in 1992.

3. Got Clinton re-elected in 1994 and forever created the two party system where no one wants a 3rd party candidate to run unless they have 0% chance of getting anything more than 1% of the overall vote.

4. Predicted the huge sucking sound of jobs leaving the US and going to Mexico based on NAFTA.

RIP, your heart was in the right place even though the results didn't always work out.
